it just seems the feathers have no direction..they're all over going every which way....maybe you could get the outside feather covered up so they aren't spreading out every which way. I think that would give them a more realistic and recognizable look. Make sure you find an extremely talented cover artist. RESEARCH is your best bet not just going out on a whim because you have the time and feel like your ready. Wait till you really find someone you trust and build a relationship with them so it turns out how you want
