Thanks for the mostly nice comments, when we selected the tattoo we actually didn't see it as being a feminine type tattoo but more as a representation of our first born child-it represented beauty & freedom to us.

Thanks again for the nice comments, I personally think that tattoo's are a very personal expression - as I've mentioned mine represents our first child & I don't regret it for a second
I really enjoy this site as it shows what creative/amazing designs are out there and the people who are kind enough to share them allowing us to see a little of there soul.
I accept that a butterfly is certainly a more feminine tattoo - I think they look really sexy on a woman - any tattoo for that matter :)
I hope you all enjoy the colors & detail of the tattoo, I thought the tattooist did an amazing job...she suggested the warmer orange colors which we really love
