this is not a japanese tattoo; its very new-school, kind of blurry/washed out and does not flow well with the water/background.
paolo does illustrative, interesting work. but this is not even a good attempt at japanese tattooing.
people should research japanese tattoos before this sort of work is considered anything near approaching japanese style tattooing...
