I got this tattoo to represent my four children. My older three are beautiful like the Plumeria flower but pretty much just sit around and look pretty. My younger daughter is the butterfly, beautiful, fragile and going to fly away.

My name is Wanda, I got this back tattoo after finding the original 1965 photo in my mother's belongings after she passed away in March 1994 of Lymphoma. My husband had a friend draw a portrait of it as a birthday surprise for me and it was so beautiful that I decided to finally have it put on my back on April 1st of 2006.
I love my tattoo! Its my second one! i was really twichy and shaking, as you can see from the lines. overall, i think it came out great. I was satisfied!

My dream tattoo I've wanted for a long while now. Got it done at Living Canvas in Tempe, Arizona. Got design from a christian comic book series called Archangels, really cool. Next plans are to get something done on my shoulders that come around my collar bones but I am still working on that design

Just curious what people think. Since this is on my back I don't get to see people's initial reaction to it. The picture was taken just after the color was added. It's a custom design that took about 5 1/2 hours to complete.
An ideas if I wanted to expand on it? I was thinking of adding a tail that curls down my back and around my side.

The symbol, which includes icons from numerous religions represents the idea that all gods are one god. Te placement of the symbol in the skull to me represents the importance of spirituality to man. I got this Tattoo 3 years ago By Evil Dave in Glendale Arizona it took 8 Hours in two sittings I would like to fill in my leg but have a difficult time thinking of what to add to this work . I would like to add something with negative space but not sure of the theme .

drawn from scratch this tattoo came from a dream. it goes completely around and it sits underneath my arm. its a combo of color and black and white. there will be more added on eventually but until now i show it off when ever i can.
What goes around comes around. Rather then doing a ying-yang symbol I chose to do chameleons. (Reason being that I have a strong ability to adapt myself to my surroundings) The evil one is dark w/ horns, & the good one is light with a curled tail. Symbolizing my belief that good people can do bad things, but bad things don’t always come back around

I drew this design myself as I'm Irish I wanted a unique Tattoo with a bit more to it than just a shamrock. I think the colour blending is done very well to make it look 3D. Also the swirls add a Celtic feel to it.

I got this tattoo because i'm a huge theatre freak. Being on stage is what keeps me sane. The skulls represent Comedy and Tragedy and the saying is a quote from Thespus, who is claimed to be the first person to ever appear on stage as an actor in a play. My fiance is the artist.
