I got this tattoo about 2 months ago now, it is part of my on-going back collection. It is a unoutlined simple tree with my favorite Beatles quote.
I got it done from my tattoo artist back in Visalia,CA at Stylin Tattoos, if ever in that area and want a tattoo it is def. the place.
This is my 3rd tattoo of a European marsh dragon. Took about 3 very painless hours and it is located on my right leg (calf/shin). I came to Amy (the artist) with a Very rough pic of the dragon body and basically let her have free reign on the wings/color scheme... Think it came out well?
I designed this; to get the picture, I laid my arm on a flatbed scanner. The inscription is Greek, and reads, "Behold, I tell you a mystery." I made a sort of collage of various images (because I can't draw too well myself), handed it to Marco at Industrial Strength in Berkeley and challenged him to make art of it.
I think he did admirably.
is this a well done tattoo? i was thinking about getting another one and wondering if its worth going back to the same place i got this one done (this was after it was done, so it was bleeding a bit)
Got this one a couple weeks ago at Infamous Ink in Stirling, Scotland, and I have to say they've done a right crap job of it. There is smudging on the lower left below the leaf, and shortly after this is scabbed like mad and was infected. They've so far been useless in assisting me, particularly with the smudging.
Ot than that, I love it.
