Thnx. I am in that dilemma right now.. Trying to figure out how to incorporate my Japanese theme into a piece for the top of my foot.....my sister has Koi by the same artist that did my back and it is beautiful.. so may have to wait till I get back to the U.S. in Sept.

Hello I just added a new one I had done on my right arm I was hoping you could give me a little feedback. I plan on getting a red and pink koi on the right side of my back piece to go along with my arm and just so you know the red koi will symbolize my daughter and the blue on on my arm symbolizes my little man.

this is incredible....never knew that the whole looks sooooo outstanding - I (Birgit) like the colours - they are great. Kwaku says, a rising sun just above the umbrella or the cherry tree should give it a perfect touch, both literally and symbolically. We are impressed - perfect work of art.

I thought all Japanese symbolism included rising sun? That would complete the whole back with a sun and rays going along the neck and upper shoulder. That is a show worthy piece; spectacular.

I, well actually Shawn did this piece in 4 sittings (and a absolutely brilliant job he did).....as I was living out of the state while this was being done (I was driving 1300 each way to get to him) and wanted to get the majority of it done prior to moving to Scotland.

I looked a long time for Geisha's that were "beautiful and soft" compared to the "traditional" (which I do love as well) .But the faces looked more similar to the masculine Samurai and these were "soft".

I find that the funniest thing over here is that women in their 60s, 70s and 80s around Belfast and Edinburgh like it a lot. The first thing they all mention is that "its not all skulls and blood" (you know that misconception) and it is "art".
