Did this one freehand on myself, upside down on my left thigh.... Used a four flat and a 7 mag only. This is the healed photo.

Got this recently on my left shoulder blade. I know it's uber-nerdy, but reflects who I am and what I'm going through in my life right now. The picture isn't the best, but it captures the detail well. Need to go in for some touch up next week, but I'm very happy with it.

cherry blossoms symbolize new beginnings, which is why i chose them. i knew i wanted some kind of flower, and after some research i knew this was it! they are so beautiful and i never get sick of looking at them! let me know what you think though, just curious!

Please rate as a cover up tattoo 5 years ago I got this shity world tatto with tribal on around it. I wanted it redone or something! I wasn't sure what, until it came to me, the world as the main jewel center piece in a crown, if you look close at the jewels you will see a weed leaf, leo sign, and the #13. This is a black and white pinup by the artist Gil Elvgren (1947) the original painting is called 'He Thinks I'm Too Good To Be True' and the girl is holding a letter. The tattoo is very acurate to the original except I wanted a book in her hand instead of a letter. It's on my ribs and it hurt like a bitch but it looks really great.

I got this tattoo at the end of 06, my fourth, the stars were just a random thing, i just wanted my brother and sisters initials and didn't want to put them in hearts so stars were the next best thing. i want to add something around it, a few words in latin, but im not sure where, above below? or actually around?

This tattoo is a representation of where I've come from. My surname is Blackwell so the Well represents family. Blood represents a family/blood bond. The Rose represents me through an idea of Duality. The Rose has risen from the Well (from the family). It's stem is severed which symbolises mortality and the rays of light represent a lifeforce.

I got this tattoo to honor my cultural/famili heritage and values. My family name is spelled in baybayin (aka. 'alibata') sanskrit along the back of the upper shark. The 'la' syllable of my last name is within the form of a manta ray. I also incorporated polynesian symbols -- fish hooks, shark teeth, dagger -- as well as elements from the sea.

I'm Jer from Drogheda in Ireland. This is my first tattoo. It was done by Phil in Wildcat in St. Stephens Green Centre in Dublin. It's a half sleeve of Andy Kubert's Batman from Son of the Demon. I plan to make it into a full sleeve to include all our favourite Batman badies. Having trouble designing it though, so any help welcome!

I guess its always a good idea to be original w/ your tattoo but I have always like the Dragon that actress Angelina Jolie use to have on her arm. I got it done while on vacation in Honolulu at Skin Deep Tattoo by an artist by the name of Jasin. I recently came back and had him put in kanji father/ daughter next to the dragon.
