This side took about 3 sittings, 3-4 hours each..got the other side in the works with the koi going in the opposite direction.

Tattoo was about balance - the image is feminine, but the location is totally butch. I wanted something different, so I had the original modified to look a tad more modern than classic Chinese work.

hi i'm stephanie. this tatoo was drawn by steve(don't know his last name) at solid image. he did a great job of drawing exactly what was in my head. i had wanted lots of warm colors but we were concerned that it would be too many warm colors. i need suggestions on how to throw some cool colors in there to get a good contrast.
