I have my nape pierced and that flexy s**t SUCKS. It's why you keep getting infections. I have an L bar in now for mine with flat studs so it doesn't get stuck on things. It works amazing!

I've had this piercing for over a year and the stupid thing still gets infected! I don't know how people with long hair do it with this piercing ... i'm constantly snagging it and cleaning it! this will most probably reject as it puts strain on the skin, A surface bar should always be used for nape piercings. Hopefully ure one of the few people that can heal this type of peircing with that jewelery, but i doubt it.
if i were you, id find a new peircer that knows what they are doing pronto!

Definetly change the bar! i had one of those in my ankle, it never healed and eventually the skin got so thin that it ripped on a fence. I used to have my nape with the correct bar and it healed up super nice, and relitivley quick, until i accidentally pulled it out in my sleep :D

It's not the proper jewelry for that kind of piercing. Go to another shop and get a surface bar or it will eventually push out. The straight bar is putting too much pressure on the piercing. It will reject it.
