I wouldn't get one, and sure a bunch of people have them. The difference is in 10 years, her tattoo will still be pretty. 10 years later my tribal arm band is not pretty, not trendy, and is marked for death (cover-up).

I liken the starts to the celtic arm bands. 10 years later they aren't trendy, but done right they are still beautiful and stil have meaning. They aren't pointless streaks of black.

Either way, I think your starts are pretty and they compliment your body. If you like them, then I'd say those are the three things that qualify as a good tattoo choice in my opinion.

The whole star concept is very common, but that's not always the point, placement also plays a big role. I just love the way you have the stars to flow from the top right side of your back around to to the lower pelvic area. So hot!


p.s. the star isn't played out.... it's just a classic.

it's my first tattoo and i've never even had anything pierced so i was just proud to have it.
I picked stars because i love stars and the different things i can do with mine.
i have stars on my car and stars on like everything.. so i picked something i knew i wasn't gonna get tired of and something that i won't get tired of like a persons name or something.
i can color in my stars with highlighter and make them any crazy color i want to or i can just do simple black and white soo.. i have a range of things i can do... i'll add a photo of what i'm talkin about.. but this isn't bad for a 1st tattoo.

Of course there are guys like you that don't give a s**t about the actual tattoo and will sit there, lust after her body and likely give her a 10. Then there are people like me that will ignore everything but the tattoo and say... It's not original, Placement is common, at best stars are boring, etc...

In the end, there’s no scene of individuality in a trendy tattoo. She's taken was someone else has done and copied it.

As you should know, tattoos are a personal expression/experience and as such if these "little girls" as you put it want to have stars done they are free to do so. They don't need you telling them it is not original, tired, and worst of all c**p. What do you define as original? Tattoos have been around for centuries and in that time nearly everything that can be done has been done in one way or another. Who cares if it is not "original", as long as the person who has the tattoo likes it and is happy.
I understand that you are free to post your opinion but you do not need to insult other people's taste just because you don't like it.

I think your stars look great and I like the idea. I think they suit you and just add to your already very attractive looks. Don't worry about what others say about it, only you have to be happy with your work. Wear it with pride and enjoy life. Ignore those who criticise others from the annonymity of a computer terminal.
