OK first of all how is an artist suppose to grow without being critiqued. So when you say so called artists, maybe you should get out of your trailer and see some of the real art in the world and know what is available before you let someone who is in over her head tattoo you. She probly gave this lady one hell of a deal and now it shows. If she spent as much time practicing her art as she did networking her ego she would be a real threat to everyone in springfield but seein how she don't the real artist just let her know that she sucks because she is lazy. |

First of all the tattoo looks GREAT!
Second Mendi does not need to network anything, me and the rest of her satisfied customers do it for her and she is the ONLY artist in town that DOES NOT have an ego. She is the first to point out things in her tattoos that she wants to go in and change or fix up, NO tattoo artist in Springfield is "perfect or flawless" and she has never said she was, and she is far from lazy, I see this girl working 6-7 days a week, gets up before sunrise and is at the shop way past closing and always draws her clients tattoos, that is alot of work! She is the only one I DON'T see on this website bashing people, maybe you should take some notes and keep your bashing to yourself until you have walked a day in her shoes, which will never happen. Keep up the good work Mendi, you are awesome and you go out of your way to make me and everyone else I know 200% satified and you make us feel like family! And congrats on the new magazine article, it rocks!!!!

Ok Jason first of all I thought of you in a different light than this i thought you were more of a proffesional artist but you have proven me wrong I never thought that I would see the day that Jason Lee from New age Tat would bring hisself to this low of a level.but to respond to your comment. I myself have an appreciation for art and probably have a higher standard of living than yourself. Just because I choose to go to a different Artist other than you, does that make me wrong. I would think not. In my personal opion I think her art skills are a little better than yours, I"m not slamming you work nor am i saying that your artwork isn't good I just prefer her artwork, her people skills, and her style.So for you and another one of your so called artist to sit on a computer and slam her work, her character, and her bussiness on this forum is apauling. Jason maybe you should run your shop with a little more pride and respect for the people that come in to your shop for work and then you wouldn't have to worry if she was a threat to you or not. Because you listen to other peoples stories about her you are at fault for that. So Jason why dont you ask these people how much they used to talk about you and your artwork when they wern't woring for you. So why don't you end all this B.S. and just continue to do what you do. |

LMFAO!! WOW what a responce. I don't hack on people i just state the truth. If you like her work better well good for you your loss.I rarely get on here unless people call me and tell me to check out the new posts. I pride myself on portrait work and when people attemp to do them just so they can be competative with me then they do what i see as a bad job i am free to voice my oppinion about it. If you don't want honost critiques then don't post your work. I myself don't enjoy slamming people but when they don't know when to keep there mouths shut about people who work for me and it makes its way back to my studio then i get involved. Keep getting your work done by her because i wouldn't want someone who can't identify good work wearing my designs. Oh and this isn't b.s. just the facts sorry.. |

Mendi talks just a much shit as everyone else, i have heard it. This is a competitive business, people are going to talk shit. If you can't handle the critique, don't post you stuff. People are being honest, this piece is not her best. But what matters is the person wearing it enjoys it. Judge the piece for what it is, not the personal problems you have with each other. Leave personal lives out of it. This site is about tattoos.
It does not look like she put enough time and thought into how to execute the tattoo. |

Be good, get good, or give it up. Her portrait work sucks. With as much experience as she's bragging on their website, she should've mastered this tat. As a matter of fact, I wasn't impressed with any of their work. She should go back to whatever she was doing before she started permanently disfiguring poor innocent tattoo- naive folk. |

I'm not impressed with this work at all. I am really not into bashing peoples work but this site IS based on recieving honest feedback. I guess if the person who owns this tattoo is happy with it then no harm no fowl but I do still see people with mullets too and it doesnt make them attractive. |
