I'm glad you did something a little different. If i see another lower back tattoo of a butterfly in the middle of tribal crap i'm gonna gouge my eyes out. Anywhooo i would leave it just how it is i think. I like it without color, and i think putting color in there would just look kind of weird considering the design. I like color on more realistic looking butterflies but i'd leave yours alone, especially since you designed it that way to begin with and it means something to you the way it is.
