To answer the question above, it took about an hour the first time, and 30 minutes for the touchup. It got kinda fucked up the first time so I went to another artist and he made it what you see today. As for the pain, its really not that bad at all.

i really like the tattoo. i was hoping to get one done on my breast too, but a horseshoe curving upwards around the nipple. it would be my first tattoo, so i was a little worried about the pain. how much did it hurt and how long did it take?

Thanks for all the nice comments. I would like to add a background to the dolphin and I too would like to get my other breast done to balance things out. Im also thinking of stretching my nipples up to 6 or 4 gauge, they are at 8 now. What do you all think?

I don't really know what to suggest for your girlfriend. It all depends on what she likes. Small or Large, Black and Gray or Color. I guess it is really up to her. I like the thought of an inner thigh tat though.
