i think the butterfly looks good. as far as a coverup goes, you may want to talk to an experienced tattooist, like the one that covered mine. his name was jorge hopkins. he worked with it for about 3 days and came up with what mine is today. someone like him might be able to turn c**p into something you will be proud of.
