I was wondering if Amy Brown's fairy pictures were copyrighted. I'm not sure if you can even copyright a picture of drawing. I was wanted to get a tat of one of her fairies, but not sure if I legally could. |

Amy's art is copyrighted. But I own many of her prints and brought the print and had him copy it. I, along with hundreds of other people who have amy brown tattoos, have submitted a copy of my tattoo for display on the Amy Brown's website. She has a disclaimer on her site that states: Note about Tattoos: Submitted tattoo images based on Amy's art should not be branded with advertisements, copyright info, 'property of', etc for the tattoo house where they were done. If they are, the text will be remove or image discarded. Amy's images, regardless of application, remain © property of Amy Brown Fantasy Art™. Tattoo houses shall not legally retain flash or re-offer the image as part of their commercial portfolio.
The artist that did mine didn't offer it but did it as a special request from the photo I brought him. If you want to see many amy brown tattoo's visit her website at amybrownart.com Mine should be there after the next update on the tattoo page. |

Great pic choice if i say so myself. LoL I have the same fairy tat on my lower back but I have the same colors as the origonal picture does. i just love Amy brown's fairies. I must say that i like how the shadow is under her legs. It makes it unique. Because even though we have the same tat in the same place you can abso tell 2 dif people did them. |

This tattoo is great, but it definatley needs some work to improve the quality of the features and detail. I chose this tattoo from my sister's selection, and hope to get it on my lower back real soon. I am having a hard time finding someone I can trsut to do it!

hi can you tell me why you picked a picture to copy? i dont understand why this happens didnt you want to make the drawing yours changeing the details colours ect or even better still finding a tattoist who could take your idears and make you a one off picture? if i saw a copy of my tattoo id be motified............... |
