Tattoo Design Details:
| I'm Matt, and "Doc," at Lost Tiger tattoo in Lansing, Michigan did this tattoo in 2003. I got this tattoo to not only represent luck, but to help represent my Irish heritage. My great grandparents came to America straight from Ireland. I hope all will like it as much as I do, and if anyone has comments on how to make it better, I'm all ears.

More Details:
| Hello. I'm Matt and I am 26 years old. I live in Kalamazoo, MI. where I'm currently attending school for my associates of applied science (A.A.S.) degree in computer programming at Kalamazoo Valley Community College (K.V.C.C.). I enjoy going out with friends and partying, meeting new people and making new connections, getting tattoos (obviously), skydiving, jamming out to some heavy tunes, and of course messing around on my computer. I believe that I am a fun person to be around as I just like to have a good time and I have a good sense of humor. Anyway, I have enough here for now, if you'd like any further information, please feel free to message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. P.S. I got the clover first, the trinity knot (Jack Mosher of Body Armor) second, the sun third, the moon fourth, the left dragon fifth, and the right dragon sixth. The sun and moon were both done in one session and by the same artist (Danny Hough of Body Armor,) and the two dragons were also done in one session and by the same artist ("Oompa" at Art and Soul in Battle Creek). |

Thanks for your input on my tattoo. Yes, they ARE dogs and not dragons, I'm not sure what that other person was thinking. I like yours too, my great-grandparents also came straight over from Ireland (on a boat in the early 1900's right to Elis Island) My great grandmother was from Kerry my great grandfather from Cork. |

Thanks for the comment. I really like your tat's as well. Hopefully I can get another celtic tattoo soon. I still have to wait a few months though due to my pregnancy. But I'm hoping to get maybe a claddagh done. |

thanks for the compliments. i totally dig its got a nice color and an over all quality design. as far as how to add on i would say make it the centerpiece and then work black and gray shaded knotwork around it that way the color will look rich and it will stand out. it will look really sharp as a half sleave. and i like all your tats really. got a perfect theme going on them =) |

great tattoo. nice color and knot work. think you could probably add to this nicely with some outside small shamrocks and celtic tribal wrap around the arm done in greywork and negative shading. (leaving the actual knots and shams blank, skin) would really let the green of the original piece pop, and definitely leave it easy to work into a full sleeve later if you wanted, rather than empty space between pieces. (a problem i've been having) |
