Tattoo represents life (sun) and death (moon) and the bird shows how quickly we go through both stages. My dad passed away to quickly for me so that's reason behined the idea.

I'm JJ, and I got this twin dragon tattoo a little less than a year ago. I've had a few people compliment me on it.

I went for a panther tattoo. I knew I wanted a panther walking down hints of rock. The tattoo artist Johnny Detroi( in Garden City, MI) suggested purple. I would love to add some background like ferns and some other things. I love this tattoo it's on the middle to lower back. People asked if it hurt. Guess what it didn't.

This was my first tattoo. It's om mani padme hum and has many meanings (honor the jewel/fire of the lotus). But, its really a way of life: doing the right things/living a good life & finding your happiness. Matt at XS is amazing! He made the experience fun and does incredible Asian/Buddhist work. It wasn't that painful - and took 2.5 hours.
