USMC would not take me cuz of a bad back in the 90's but the Marines have been the bar as to how i have carried myself throu my life. father inlaw was a ww2 Marine on Iwo 5th division. And thank you for your service!!

I've seen that one in person and I promise that it is nothing compared to some of the other tattoos that he has :P None the less it is a pretty sweet tat dude, can't wait to see the new one. semper fi. i am a veteran (U.S.M.C. RVN 69-70 L/cpl). i was REMF, but ran a few patrols, 2 very close sniper rounds, dodged rockets and mortar rounds, lost a few buddies and smoked a mountain of the best you know what. i would rate your tattoo a 10 even if it wasnt.. but it is..semper fi

It's the angle of the picture that makes my size ten foot look huge. I suffer from Infantry foot. They stink, their mishapen from miles of running around on them be it a "hump" or a morning run. The bottoms are tougher than steel and there are blisters and callousses all over them. Anyone care to lick them clean?

I'm not one for mindless regretful tattoos, but this is actually a great idea. I am not in the military, but have several relatives in the marines. Not only is this a nice tattoo but also a great way for indentification if in fact actually a soldier and in combat, anywhere overseas or here on the streets of the United States.
