This image is taken from a Gusav Klimt mural called the Stoclet Frieze, also known as the Tree of Life. I love the spiral motif in the branches. I want to eventually make it part of an entire back piece, maybe including a phoenix in the same art deco/ art nouveau style?
I got this tattoo last year on my left foot. My dad passed away last year, and he had a huge eagle on his back. His favorite color was purple (hush!) and he was left handed, thus the coloring and LEFT foot. Comments are welcome!!

This tattoo represents where I am in my life, where I have been, and where I am going. In essence it is the past, present, and future. I have it going on the right side up to about where my bra stap goes. This is not a teenage girl tramp stamp!! This was my second tattoo.
This was done by Bob at Irezumi Body Art on Wornall road in Kansas City.
Just got my first tattoo done 2 weeks ago. It's in memory of mom. I liked the idea of a cross and heart. Also wanted to incorporate a yellow flower somehow because my mom really liked flowers and her favorite color was yellow. The doves symbolize one for each of my brothers, my sister, and myself.
Just had my last name put on my back, I was really happy with it, thought I'd see what people thought. I'll have more added to it, it the first part of a big mural.

This is a tattoo I got to remind myself that God always has my back. I tried to stray away from crosses and therefore opted for the crown of thorns. The verse (Philippians 4:13) is "I can do all things through Christ whom strengthens me."

I drew this from several tattoos I found online...I really liked the tribal and I wanted the tattoo that would always tell people something about me so I used the zodiac symbol for Scorpios for the centerpiece and drew in an outline of a little scorpion whose tail actually ends up being part of the tribal design.
