Tattoo Design Details:
The first tattoo was done last July in Asheville. I've never really been happy with it, but today I couldn't be more pleased! Margaret Moose at Ace Custom Tattoo in Charlotte, NC enhanced my Ankh Cross and added some Egyptian blue lotus flowers. It's a very nice improvement, isn't it? I can't wait 'til it heals.rnrn
I would appreciate any helpful comments on how I could improve my first tattoo.
I would like to add a few more symbols like the Christian Cross, Peace Sign and not sure yet what the 4th symbol would be.
Also thought of the color purple added as rose buds? flowers?
Noticing too that the design is kinda thin for my larger leg..should I get it widened?

i like this kind of tattoos, and for me smaller tattoos on girls are exciting. and purple i think would work nice cause you have nice clear skin, and for symbols always get something that make you proud..... thank's for you're comment.
If your going to get a tattoo, then GET a tattoo. Its not about being small for girls, or big and mean for boys or cutsie or anything like that. I get so mad at people with that attitude towards tattoos. You get a tattoo because you want something personal decorating you. Dont get a tattoo because you want a tattoo get one because you want something drawn on you that you chose for a reason (hint: you wont find it on the wall of the tattoo studio)

Thanks for your comment, Sarah. I actually DID get a tattoo...a tattoo of the ankh cross which is a symbol that I have always loved. I had ankh jewerly. Now I got it in ink forever! The green olive branches were added for color and because I had always wanted a tattoo around my ankle. Also, I always dream of PEACE, so the tattoo that *I* chose is symbolic of Peace. I like it, and want to add more symbols within the olive branches.
