This tattoo won 1st place color in a Tattoo Convention in Greensboro of this year. My design. Tell me what you think

In my mid life, I decided I wanted a tattoo. I got the flowers done first and about a month later I added the hummingbird. What do you think?

Basically, The heart is bruised and blown out and on my arm. I wear my heart on my sleeve (note the location.) And it means shits happens. Where the roses are is the word "Trust" and the "U" in the center is red. Means I will trust you... All in all: Shit happens but I am still going to trust you.

I got this tattoo a few months ago. What do you think? should I make any changes? I'm satisfied with it but i want to know what others think of it.

This is from the original dust jacket for The Catcher In the Rye. I had the artist do some custom design to include a red "people-shootin hat and a duck in a pond. It's not a great picture, but what do you think of it?

I got this tattoo a month after my grandfather passed away. He was the greatest man I've ever known. He was in the navy so I thought what better tattoo than this.
