Comment: it's backwards, you have the eye of Ra

From: Mechanical_Animal on November 15, 2005
Comment: Who cares if it is backwards, it is a great tattoo, I give you a 10. I think Egyptian is fantastic!

From: Host on January 9, 2006
Comment: nice man....i hope you ment to get "The eye of Ra" and not "The Eye of Horus" cause thats what you got ;) Im going to get the eye of harus too but im still looking for a good design, or ill go with one from an ORIGINAL eg\yptian picture... im still undecided.

From: Rob on January 21, 2006
Comment: Surely it depends on what way you're looking at the tattoo...? The eye he has is the Right eye of Horus..I think.

From: John on January 29, 2006
Comment: For those of you who do not know!? The Right Eye is the Eye of Ra, and the Left Eye is the Eye of Thoth! And when they are put together, they represent the Eyes of Horus the Elder! The Right Eye represents the Sun i.e. Ra, and the Left Eye represents the Moon i.e. Thoth! I'm sorry but I am sick and tired of everyone thinking that Horus can be considered as either one! When they are completely different!

From: elbone on February 1, 2006
Comment: Both eyes can be called the eye of Horus Horus is the son of Osiris the elder and Isis his mother..both eyes are from horus..the right eye is the ra eye or sun..the left eye was torn out of its socket by Seth who is the brother of Osiris...the reason...Seth becomes jealous of Osiris then kills him...Horus then does battle with Seth and his left eye is torn out..it is later found and restored by Thoth the moon god......right eye Ra...left eye Thoth....both eyes Horus...by the way..Seth's balls are torn off by Horus during the battle.

Comment: thats the best egyptian tattoo ive seen, and believe me, im hard to impress, nice one for being original.

From: athenaceleste on March 23, 2006
Comment: considering getting the eye of ra~ the cover of "Vision Thing" on the Sisters of Mercy CD is what I'm looking at. Just plain and simple shaded black, wrapped around my upper arm like an egyption arm cuff

Comment: As a few people have mentioned before that is actually not the eye of Ra, but the eye of Thoth.. they each represent 2 different things. I think if you get a tattoo you should know what it is and what it symbolizes if its something that symbolizes something.

From: white girl on July 17, 2007
Comment: lots of people get the eye, something more original would have been better,,but nice work on the tat

From: bobbyfischerwannabe on July 26, 2007

Comment: NICE TAT , DONT LIKE THE EYE IN THE MIDDLE .SHOULD JUST BE BLACK

From: sophie on February 15, 2008
Comment: the eye of ra and the eye of horus are both the eye's of horus, one represents the sun and one of the moon, so it doesn't reele matter which one u get. i dont no if it applys to the left and right but this one is supposed to protect u and was found on king tut, so i hope it brings u luck or some even say wisdom cause its a nice tat. lame comment i no but just to clear things up
