I really like the tat...I think shading is the best way to go , but just as the meaning of your tat is very important to you, the end result needs to be as important. If you decide to color it, go as bold as possible and make it pop. Good luck and post the finished pics.

However, if you like color then you could go with some really bold colors to make the dragon jump of your back as well. In the end you have to figure out what you will be most happy with since you are the one who is wearing it forever.
