Tattoo Design Details:
Oddly enough, this was my first tattoo! This design was inspired from the cover of a bible that's been in my family for many generations. I still have a session left to tighten up the sky and some of the water, but other than that, what do you think? It was most freehand done by Seth from American Tattoo in Verona, PA.

Comment: I love that you used a family heirloom as inspiration for your tattoo. that is a beautiful work of art that anyone should be proud to have, you happen to be the fortunate one who does have it. 10, if i could go higher i would

Comment: I am pleasantly surprised that you went all out on your first tattoo. Too often people get stupid little designs that they either end up getting removed or covered up. And then on top of that you actually got a meaningful design done by an artist who looks like he knows what he's doing. Kudos.

Comment: hey. i want to get a tattoo about the same size and on my back too. and i don't want a little desing on me, i want details and a good piece of art work on my whole back. my question wud be. how much did you pay for your tat?

Comment: just amazing. the colors, the work, the detail everything just kicks ass. most beautiful back peice ever. yeah how much did something like this cost?

Comment: Thank you very much briebabe. It was done over a span of a year and a half. My family had got me various gift certificates for my birthday and Christmas. The artist typically charged $100 an hour, but since so much time was invested, it was usually around $75/hr. I had about 22 hours put it, so although I never kept an exact number, I think all together it was around $1800.
