its a great design, but to me its floating a wee bit. but i guess there is plenty of scope to add to it and ground it with more design later

yea funnyguyla. i agree with you. my work place doesn't allow visible tattoos. i have 10. so i cover them (but sometimes my pink bow peeks out of my shirts). they are covered when i sit in my sweats at home. it is funny that he is preaching to someone he doesn't know or understand fully. i love your tree, i think it is an amazing piece of art. and i actually LOVE your dreads.

I think it's beautiful, and I'm especially impressed that it's your own design. As for Ex Jesus Freak's comments, I know lots of people who get tattoos in places that can be easily covered if needed. I don't see what the problem is. I have a tattoo on my leg. Am I not expressing myself if I wear long pants?

Hmm... Putting it lower so you can hide it for.. church and whatnot.. Ive never heard of people being tattooed and hiding their pieces.. tattooes are expressions.. dare i say a form of ... rebellion.. I BELIEVE.. in Leviticus.. which is the 3rd book in the Bible.. chronologically.. it clearly states that "You shall not mark or tattoo your body".. So.. arent you kinda going to church.. knowingly being in the wrong of what "God" himself, has condemned? Just a though! Its a beautiful piece it really is.. its just a shame the church has blinded you to a point you cant REALLY express yourself. Open your eyes sweetheart.

I do plan to add to it eventually, but I chose the placement on purpose. I like it there and I can cover it if necessary (for church & such) which is important to me. The pic is at an angle, but you can pretty much see that it is centered in the biggest part of my back (the top half.) Not too low, but not high enough to be seen over a shirt(except maybe a tank top) :)

Unfortunalely placemnet of single backpieces is crucial when ur wanting to add to it. I have the same problem. The tat is great. Don't rush the rest of the design or you will be doing cover ups. Scores high.

I agree with a2 on this one, you did place it too low to be a stand alone piece. However, if you add to it to create some kind of landscape incorporating the tree you may be able to pull it off.
