Jess- I bought the postcard at Hot Topic. I asked someone if they knew who the artist was and they said they thought it was Amy Brown.
I personally do not believe this is Amy Brown's work as these fairies look NOTHING like Amy's fairies. I believe these fairies look more like the work of Myka Jelina. I could be wrong... so please don't quote me. But the faces and other features remind me of Myka's work.
As I said I could be wrong... and I'd like to give credit where credit is due... But until I know for sure who originally drew this picture, I will not list a name in the details.

Yeah...it's been right at a year since my wings! I wanted to have my ribs done about two months ago, but impending surgery has postponed that work!!! Aarrgghh...but, I'd rather wait and have kick a*s work, than get it now and have it ruined. As for "lack of tolerance," I completely understand. Teaching at a community college (glorified high school) will suck that right out of ya!! Stay safe and keep inkin'!! Michele

Not saying mine is the absolute best, just saying it's damn near it. Normally illegal tattoos are the equivalent of jailhouse junk. The cat/fishbone piece is really cute! I like it a lot! Yeah, the guy who inked my back in only 19 and is such an amazing artist. I went in with the idea of what I wanted (I had always used Sandy at Dermagraphics in Texarkana, TX), let Corey know and came back a couple of weeks later and VOILA! end result: I love it. I wanted to go larger but after much deliberation we decided not to. I just had my wrists done by the same guy and it really really hurts right now. Thanks for the reply!!!!!

I don't mean to sound conceited whatsoever when I said that I truly believe my tattoo is one of the best I have ever seen in all of my life. That is my personal opinion first off, and it's a very great thing to feel that way about something that I will carry with me til my dying days!! =) I think Hans is the greatest artist there ever was & I have to give him the credit he deserves because I could have requested the same tattoo from someone else and ended up with something I hated.
