Tattoo Design Details:
| This is not the best picture, I'll change it soon. This is a very detailed large piece with 3 fairies. Hear, See, Speak no evil... but they are hearing, speaking, and seeing. They are tattooed and pierced. It isn't even completed yet, but I think it's perfect as is. No color, just graywash. What do you think about it??

More Details:
| My work is drawn, customized, and perfected by Hans Drost of Crown Studios located on South Blvd in Charlotte, NC. He has the best prices around and he is the only person I will ever trust on my ink. This piece will total about 6-1/2 hours. (It's really huge and hard to appreciate with this picture. Imagine I'm close to 6' tall and this covers a large half of my lower back.) Hans is truly awesome! My little cousin, Todd Sturgis from Rock Hill, who is not yet a tattoo artist, but is one hell of an original tattoo designer created a sweet gothy looking dead cat with it's tongue wrapped around a rotted fishbone. (If you look in the middle fairies forearm, you will see this tattoo-tattooed there. It's upside down but it's there. On the other forearm is a black widow which represents the blackwidow tattoo that Hans covered with the fairies.) The cat tat doesn't sound girly... because I'm not a flowery girly kinda chick. But I love it! Todd is really awesome! Work on it was done by Phil at Tattoo Bills. Phil is a really cool guy that I love to make him say "Bloody Hell" because he's got a british accent that's pretty cool! haha Anyway, I'm down to earth & easy going. I love doing what ever it is I do and don't really care what others think of me. I don't believe I fit into a group, unless there is a group of ppl that do things because they want to, not because of what others think about them. I love my piercings and tattoos. I didn't do it to fit in, I did it because I wanted to. I'm dating a rock star & we have 3 kids. I'm tall and this is stupid. Doesn't matter... not like any of you jackasses are really reading this, right? Hmmm OK, so I've updated this thing now. I'm freakin proud of myself because it has taken an act of congress to motivate me to do so! =) |

Sweet! I'll continue looking for the updates. I will have this tattoo finished Friday and should have new pictures up next week. I will also have a few of my cat on here. I think it's the coolest tattoo he's drawn.... I saw it and told him immediately that it was mine and he'd better not let anyone else take it. (He retires his tattoos once it is used. He may use something similar, but never the same.) He does a really awesome job though. He has about 15 people (just friends and himself) walking around with his art on them. Every parlor we've taken them to has been quite impressed. Who knows, it could take him to Vegas one day! One could only hope! The guys Hans is really awesome. Maybe I'll get a few of my friends with his ink to join this site. Anyway, thanks for the comment! We'll speak soon! |

I had this shaded a little more Friday night, but it really pissed the fairies off! They are puffy and red... perhaps PMSing haha So, no I didn't take pictures of this yet. I will put up new pictures as soon as they take a midol and calm down! Thanks for the comments ya'll! :) |

Wow skmaine, thanks! I agree with you about liking what you have. I think it must suck to like something, get it tattooed on you, then realize you don't really like it afterall... ie: names! =) I love my tattoo! I don't mean to sound conceited whatsoever when I said that I truly believe my tattoo is one of the best I have ever seen in all of my life. That is my personal opinion first off, and it's a very great thing to feel that way about something that I will carry with me til my dying days!! =) I think Hans is the greatest artist there ever was & I have to give him the credit he deserves because I could have requested the same tattoo from someone else and ended up with something I hated. The cat/fishbone piece is really cute! I like it a lot! Yeah, the guy who inked my back in only 19 and is such an amazing artist. I went in with the idea of what I wanted (I had always used Sandy at Dermagraphics in Texarkana, TX), let Corey know and came back a couple of weeks later and VOILA! end result: I love it. I wanted to go larger but after much deliberation we decided not to. I just had my wrists done by the same guy and it really really hurts right now. Thanks for the reply!!!!! |
