My name is Jerilynn & this is my first tattoo and it has a lot of meaning. I battled a drug addiction and have now been clean for close to a year so "From Sorrow to Serenity" seemed to fit. All of the unhappiness and chaos as a result of addiction to being clean and serene is so freeing. To me the bat wings show sorrow and the rose shows serenity.
