Tattoo Design Details:
Ancient Greek/Roman God and Goddess mural. A few different paintings from the renaissance period put together to make the overall mural. It took 3 sittings at about 4 hours each time. I would like to know what you think of the piece as a whole. Sarah Peacock is the artist from Artfuel.inc in Wilmington, NC
More Details:
As you can see, I like the black and grey look. I do have a little color to other tattoos that I have collected. I can't help it, I'm addicted to the artwork, I'm definetly getting more done in the future.

Comment: From what I can see from your photos the detail is real nice. Is the same artist doing all your work?

Comment: Great work. i enjoyed taking in the detail of this piece rather than the usual quick scan. Artist has talent. I also have a blk and grey "mythical" back piece.

Comment: why the heck is a scorpion walking on the moon ?? an earlier tattoo?? cause i think it doesn't really fit to the topic

From: sparbination on September 13, 2007
Comment: Okay, to clear it up a little, the scorpion is not walking on the moon, the moon is in the backround. However, the scorpion does fit the concept. In Greek mythology, after Orion was killed by the Scorpion (which was placed on Earth by Artemis because Orion boasted that he could kill all the animals in the forest) the gods placed the constellation of Orion and Scorpio/Scorpius in the sky. Scorpio chases Orion across the sky. But you are right Artie, the scorpion was my first tattoo and I didn't get the rest of the piece done for a few years later.
