Wow... How much more explanation do you people need about culture and paying homage to one's own?

To appease the masses, I've edited the photos to better reflect the body art-- but why is it so difficult for people to grasp the concept of culture?

I don't mean for this to sound like a targeted diatribe, but my own body art has meaning. None of these were chosen from a wall of flash because I thought they were cute. They are a means of cultural preservation and a source of familial pride.

If this is a difficult concept for people to grasp, I'm sorry for you and hope that you understand that tattooing (or any other form of primitive body art) predates preconceived Western notions and has a deep, often spiritually-based, meaning and history.
