Comment: I think the roses on the girls stomach are great! the backpiece, I dont know, seems very 'flat' as in not much shading. Its not bad, just not my cup of tea.

Comment: after looking at it again, there is shading, just not in certain parts such as the skulls and her face. maybe that was the desired look.

Comment: Thanks for the comments folks. The client wanted an old-school feel for the piece and a limited palette. Traditional old-school is typically very flat, especially in regards to shading and color fill.
