The term exotic is a subjective one. Some may find a cartilage piercing exotic and wild, while others may not feel that piercing your clitoris can be considered out of the norm. Most professional piercers categorize genital piercings as exotic piercings. “Female exotic piercings” typically refer to female genital piercings, while “male exotic piercings” typically refer to male genital piercings. The various types of female genital piercings include the clitoris piercing (probably the most rare and exotic piercing because of the pain level and risk involved,) fourchette, horizontal and vertical clitoral hood piercings, inner and outer labia, and triangle piercings. Male genital piercings include the ampallang, dydoe, apradravya, foreskin, frenum, guiche, Prince Albert, and the scrotum. These popular genital and exotic piercings are usually meant to enhance sexual stimulation and arousal. Other types of piercings that are commonly considered exotic include multiple piercings. Recently, it has become widespread to get covered in piercings, whether it is throughout the face or the body. Some have their ears covered in every type of ear piercing variation, while others will have eyebrows made of rings or their genitals covered in them. The concept of multiple piercings is a creative one; people are trying to turn their bodies into a work of art through exotic piercings. |
