This is a version of "Isabella", the pirate mermaid depicted in artwork by Angelique Houtkamp the Amsterdam artist/tattooist. Since this pic was taken, she was touched up with a bellybutton and nose detail, which really finished it off, but no pic of this yet. The Latin means "fortune favors the brave" - I got it when I started my own business!
