Feminine Tattoos

The first thing that comes to mind when most people hear "feminine tattoo" is a heart, some flowers (usually purple or pink,) and maybe a puppy of some sort.  But there are millions of tattoos out there that can express femininity without diving into the cliché world of cutesy or girly.

The femininity you are looking for does not have to come solely from the image.  It can be expressed in the placement of the feminine tattoo as well.  If you are in search of a feminine tattoo, there are a few things to
keep in mind.  The first is the location.  The second is the image.  A nice combination of the two is important to achieve a feminine tattoo. If the location is sexy, yet the image is hideous... it may not be a feminine tattoo.  However, if you have the most feminine floral image in the world, yet it is located on your cheek or your knee... that may not appear feminine either.

We have a lot of skin to choose from when we are deciding on a place for a new tattoo.  The lower back is one of the sexiest, most feminine places to get your tattoo, which is why it is such a popular location for women to get them there.   On or above the breast, on the belly, and on the ankle are a few other places that have been ranked "sexy" places for women to get their new tattoo as well.

The image is another thing to think about when you are looking for a feminine tattoo.  Often women choose images involving the “softer” side of life because they tend to be more feminine.  Stars, angels, and flowers are the most common subjects found in feminine tattoos.  However with a bit of creativity and color, you can imbue most subjects with some femininity.
