And contrary to ancient tradition, which stated that anyone but an emperor bearing the mark of a Chinese dragon would be executed, anybody can get an eastern dragon tattoo today. Other Dragon Tattoos The Hydra, an ancient dragon from Greek Mythology, is also a popular dragon tattoo option, as well as Sea Serpents from Celtic and Norse Mythology.
