Back Tattoos

Getting back tattoos never used to be the "thing" to do.  However, recent years have changed this fact.  Back tattoos are getting hotter and hotter.  Why?  It could be because there are some really sexy parts of the back or because it is an easy place to hide a tattoo, if necessary. Another reason could be that the back is one of the slowest parts of the body to show age, limiting the amount the tattoo will change over time.

Many people choose to get an upper back tattoo because it is the one part of the body tattooed, that never seems to change.  The upper back contains very little extra skin, causing little or no sagging and drooping to occur, which often happens with age and can alter tattoos on other parts of the body.

The lower back is one of the most popular spots for women to get tattoos.  This part of the body holds a lot of sex appeal.  It is often covered, adding mystery. However, with the trend of low cut pants and shorter shirts, the lower back tattoo is more often revealed, showing off the butterflies, tribal symbols, and flowers that many find so attractive.

The back happens to be the flattest part of the body, the one that most resembles a canvas, making it the perfect place to get a large piece of body art.  Unfortunately, the back is also one of the most painful parts of the body to receive a tattoo, making larger tattoos more difficult.  But this does not stop those seriously interested in back tattoos.  Many people begin by getting a small tattoo on a piece of the back and expanding on it, little by little.  Eventually, the entire back may be covered with one giant piece of artwork.
