Bad Tattoos - Awful Tattoos

Tattoos | Tattoos Revealed | Bad Tattoos

There are “bad tattoos,” and then there are “really bad tattoos.”  These are sometimes hard to categorize because of the subjective nature of the term “bad.”  What one person may find charming, the next may think is hideous.  However, there are a few different categories of bad tattoos-some of which cannot be disputed.  There are the tattoos that have mistakes in them (usually very difficult to change), horribly executed tattoos, and images that you will grow tired of very quickly.  Some of these “bad tattoos” are the fault of the tattoo artist, while others only have the customer to blame (who is really the one that suffers anyway.)

Some tattoos offer significance on a personal level.  For example:  a mother wants to tattoo her baby daughter’s birthday on her shoulder, or a man wants to tattoo his girlfriend’s name on his arm just before he proposes to her.  These are thoughtful and sweet efforts.  How do you think the mother would feel when the tattoo artist got the date wrong on the tattoo of the baby’s birthday?  Or how does that man feel when he must show his new tattoo to his girlfriend, and the name is completely misspelled.  These are a few examples of mistakes that can and have been made by professional tattoo artists.

Sometimes customers spend an abundance of time selecting the perfect tattoo to suit them, only to choose the wrong tattoo artist to finish the job.  The result of this situation can be disastrous.  At times, the image doesn’t even resemble the chosen tattoo.  This “bad tattoo” situation can be prevented easily by taking the time to select an experienced tattoo artist that you trust.
